20th June 2006 - I've bought a trampoline and had my first carnage party at my house!

Tonight I have been out with my friend Kate. She's the woman who sorted my head out in the program "Celebrities in Therapy". We went to meet a friend of hers in a posh members club called Soho House. Her friend is a guy high up in TV. We were putting an idea to him for a TV show that we came up with ages ago. He has now promised to give us a film crew for 2 days to go and make a pilot of the show to give to commissioners to try and get the show made and commissioned. We're very excited! The guy we met was lovely and I hit it off with him straight away. I've got loads of TV work on at the moment but I want something I can get my teeth into. The idea we've had for a program will keep us busy for months and really tax our brains. I'm really happy with how the meeting went!

After the meeting I went with Kate and my brother to a little Italian restaurant off Regent Street to have something to eat and then the three of us went to a party my mate Nick was throwing for the England match. The party was at Embassy. The first person I saw when I walked through the door was one of the fit footballers I met in Marbella recently. We had a little chat and then I spent some time with Nick cos I haven't seen him in ages. Jord and I drove home together and had a long, deep chat about life, relationships and careers. We've decided that I should set up my own business (to give my brain something to get excited about) and that eventually both of us will move abroad. All in all; a good night.

Last Friday a load of us went to Jord's gig at Ivory Rooms. Afterwards Russ, Tony and Jord came back to mine for a drink. Russ ended up staying and said that he would get up early and strim the whole of my garden for me (which is now looking like a tropical rain forest - a lawnmower wouldn't even get near it!). Tony went home but promised to be back first thing in the morning with another borrowed strimmer to help him. At 10am on Saturday morning we realised it was going to be a scorcher of a day. I decided there and then (with a little help from Russ and Tony) that I should throw a BBQ party at mine that night instead of us all going to a club. In order to throw an outdoor garden though, I had to go and get a few things. Leaving Russ and Tony strimming, me and Jordan went and bought a trampoline, a giant hammock, a barbeque and an outdoor heater. Once we had lugged all the stuff back to the house and been informed by Tony and Russ that even the strimmers wouldn't go through the giant weeds that have taken over my garden we decided that really we could make do with just a path being cut to the end of the garden to where we were going to set the trampoline up. We set off to the shops again leaving the boys to set everything up. We then bought a 6 seater outdoor table and umbrella and all the food and drink for the party. Only at this point (now 3pm in the afternoon) did I start texting my mates to invite them. When we got back to my house for the second time, Sarah was already there. I haven't seen her for ages cos she's got a new job and she's been pretty mush living with Dave in London. We've been really slack at getting together so I was really excited to see her. We walked into a half-set-up trampoline, Russ with his top off, both boys sweating and Sarah shouting instructions from a manual about what to do next. Comedy.

Anyway, cut a long story short. The party was a raving success. I bought 8 crates of beer, a crate of sidekick shots and loads of bottles of wine. Everyone who came also brought more drink. My brother set up a P.A system in the garden attached to an ipod that is big enough to play Wembley with so we blasted the tunes all night. I bought £200 worth of food and we threw a load of huge blankets and cushions down on the grass for extra seating space. The whole night was brilliant from start to finish. At one point we had every single person coupled up and dancing salsa to the song "I've had the Time of my Life". Every single person was more drunk than they've ever been but in a happy, nice way. Three people were sick down the bottom of my garden from too mush drink! Two people leapt into the hammock for it to flip straight over and throw them on the floor (mush to the amusement of everyone else). We had a cartwheel competition (even my nice respectable next-door neighbours were doing cartwheels across the lawn). We played silly drinking games and even my mum was absolutely hammered by the time she left. The party wrapped at around 5am (well, by that I mean the music got turned off). At least 6 people stayed at mine (three of those slept on the trampoline and were rudely awakened by the sun burning them to a crisp on Sunday morning). Everybody said it was the best night they'd had in ages! I know I sound like a right geek "we were doing cartwheels and everything!" but I suppose you had to have been there. It really was such a good night and I haven't laughed so mush in ages. Jordan even danced and that is truly saying something! The boy doesn't even tap his foot on a normal night out! I am now going to throw at least one party a month for the whole summer.

On the Sunday morning we got up at around 10am (after not going to bed til about 7am!) and decided that we should do something again that night. Only the hardcore heavies actually made it back to mine (Tony, Russ, Pants and Jord) and we sat drinking Pimms and talking about head-messing things like: is there life on other planets? Where does the universe stop? Does it stop, or does it just go on forever? Etc.

Going back to last Friday, I filmed the final bit of Me or the Dog. Victoria nearly wet herself when she saw the progress we had made with the dogs! We actually can now get all four Chihuahuas to sit in a line when told (something none of us thought would ever happen!). I also did a photo shoot with the 6 dogs for the front cover of K9 magazine. That was filmed for the show as well. All the dogs behaved impeccably and Victoria and I swopped numbers because we got on so well. I have a feeling we are going to be good friends and possibly even work together again in the future. As soon as I know when the program is going to be aired I'll let you know cos it'll be great!

Lauren and I went to salsa last night. We had such a great time. We're really getting the hang of it now and loving every second of it. I can't wait til I'm as good as the teachers and can show off when I'm in a club. Although I do think I've pulled something as I've had a nagging pain in my stomach all day (that or I've got some sort of hernia).

Jumping back now to tonight; when we arrived at Embassy, there were about 12 paparazzi outside. As I hadn't planned to go anywhere and be photographed, I was just in tight combat-style trousers, a vest and boxing boots. I didn't stop and pose for any pictures cos I wasn't in the mood and Jordan hates it. Instead they all just grabbed what they could as I walked in the door, I didn't mean to be rude to them but I just can't be arsed with it lately. Everything I wear I get slated for (even though I LOVE my clothes, otherwise I wouldn't wear them!) and therefore I can't be arsed with even letting anyone take my picture. When we were ready to go we grabbed a goody bag each (full of lovely stuff!) and Jordan pulled my truck up right outside so that I could run and jump into it. They still surrounded the car though and snapped away, causing all of us to go blind from all the flashes and Jordan to get stuck in the middle of the road for fear of pulling away and run one of them over. Two of them were practically lying across the bonnet anyway so we couldn't move anyway!

I am now sitting in my house with Lyla and Paddy. Lyla has learnt to climb the stairs but she can't get back down so every time I come home I find her sitting at the top of the stairs looking down at me forlornly. She's so cute though and she gives the best cuddles. The other night Russ stayed in my bed (not in that way! All my mates sleep in my bed) and she fell asleep in his arms. She didn't move all night and in the morning he lay marvelling at how she's "just like a human baby!" At less than three months old, she can sit when told, she can do a high-five (slap my hand with her paw) when told and she can lie down when told. She's very clever! Paddy is loving her and spends hours rolling round on the floor play-fighting with her. He's still the big man though and I love them both equally. My new tattoo of their names has now healed and looks wicked, although I am feeling a big guilty that I don't have all the Chihuahuas names' tattooed somewhere. I've been thinking where to have them on my body; I'm running out of places and my dad will have a fit if I get any more. The other week when he knew I was meeting Kate (who's a therapist and life coach), he called me up to ask me to ask Kate to see if she could cure me of my tattoo addiction. She half-cured me of my phobia of needles a few years ago so he knows what she's capable of. I can't help liking the look of tattoos and also weirdly enough I actually love the pain involved in getting one done. I now have eleven (I think, I may have lost count!) and I still want more. In fact, if weren't for the fact that I will end up looking like some hideous tattooed woman, I'd get one done every day!

I'm waffling now and I know it. I'm over-tired and I need to go to bed. I am not going to check this back over so I'm sorry if there are spelling and/or grammar mistakes in it.

Lots of love

Jodie
