I want to get married now as I’m getting older and all my friends are getting married and having babies and I’m not any closer to doing that. I was sat in my home in Brentwood when it suddenly struck me that I might never find the one while I’m sat at home, it’s not likely he’ll come knocking at my door. I thought if I travelled the country I’d meet more men and hopefully find someone amazing so that’s how I came up with the show idea. I want to find my soul mate. He’s got to be a real man and want the same things as me and love me more than he’s loved anyone before!
My friends and family think it’s a good idea and are totally behind me. My best friend and brother have been coming to the auditions with me and I’ve been speed-dating too! It’s great cos they take it as seriously as I do and have been giving the men a damn good grilling. They like one of the guys and keep raving about him. We’ll see how it goes…
