7th February 2007 - The one about people with no brains......

Today I want to ask; what is wrong with people? I mean, in the sense that - they don't have brains and I want to know why. Why are some people's gene pools good (and their brains work normally) and why are some totally lacking up there. Last night I did a P.A at Amadeus nightclub in Rochester. I've been to Amadeus a few times now just for a night out and always enjoyed it. In fact, it's one of my favourite clubs because it's a PROPER club. By that I mean that it's huge, it plays a selection of music (something for everyone) and it's got purple UV lights and lasers. It's kind of like a holiday club (like something you might find in Aiya Napa) and because of that, when we've been there we've felt like we were on holiday and we've gone even more mad than normal! The staff in there are really lovely. We always get looked after properly and we love it!

So, tell me why then I go to do a P.A and all the weirdos in there crowd round the stage to get a good look at me, boo at me and then all queue up to get a photo and autograph? Brainless? Er... yeah. Rocket scientists they ain't gonna be but really I just feel sorry for these people. If they are that stupid then there's no hope for them at all. If a celeb was going to be doing an appearance at my local club and I liked them then perhaps I would go to meet them and get a picture (well, actually I wouldn't but lets just say for arguments sake that I would) but if a celeb I didn't like was going to be there; I just wouldn't go. I certainly wouldn't go to boo at them and I most definitely wouldn't then queue up afterwards to get a photo with them and an autograph. The owner told me not to worry. He said that Calum Best, Eton Road and other celebs who had done recent appearances there had all been booed too. "I'm not worried" I thought - just saddened that these people are all so nasty and/or stupid. It's the state of the world we live in today!

I suppose they are jellus that people like me/Calum/Eton Road are being paid lots of money to be there and they aren't but hey - don't be jellus - strive to be there yourself one day! That's the way I see it. I've never been jellus of anyone in my life. If someone has something I want then I make it my goal to go out and get it. I don't hate on them because they've done well for themselves. Besides; what could a bunch of brainless kids from Rochester hate me for anyway? They don't even know me! Lets see....... "Oh I really hate her! She does all that stuff for animal rights!" or "God she's vile for giving all that money to Refuge!" or "Jeez, will you just shut up about bullying - let the kids hang themselves - don't try and stop them you slag!" I mean, come on now..... what is there to hate? Apart from how big-headed I am of course! It's jealousy and it's a shame. They should want to be better people, not take out their own bitterness and problems on others who are getting on with their lives.

Actually it wasn't as bad as I'm making out. Not everyone booed (thanks mum for the one cheer!) ha ha. Some of the people that came up for a photo afterwards apologised for the crowd's behaviour - they were genuinely lovely and I appreciated their comments but I guarantee at least half of the people that wanted a photo were booing just ten minutes before.

It does just make the crowd look like a bunch of imbeciles though really. By booing they are saying "I'm jellus!" - what else could it be? If it was Jade Goody up there then you could understand it (they'd be booing because they honestly don't like her after her atrocious behaviour in BB) but me? What have I done? Enjoyed life too mush? Been strong when I've needed to be? Come through loads of sh*tty things? Yeah boo me! I'm such a terrible person!

If this had happened a few years ago I would have been devastated. Not now though. I've probably done 300 P.A's in nightclubs during my career and out of those I have had 3 bad ones (last night's being number 3). Not bad odds really. I'm grateful I've had as many good ones as I have! Plus, why would it bother me now? I've got everything I ever wanted in life and I'm secure and happy. Those silly kids will grow up to be silly adults and their only claim to fame will be that they booed Jodie Marsh once. Ha ha. It's not their fault anyway I suppose - I blame it on the parents. They clearly haven't been brought up to have manners and they're obviously not well educated. Yet again I reiterate that people should have to be vetted and have a licence to be able to have kids. Some sort of reversible sterilisation at birth (only reversible after rigorous background checks) - kind of like the checks made if you want to adopt. You can't just go and get a child, if you want to adopt then you have to be deemed suitable. Why should it be any different to have kids of your own? Just because it came out of your tummy or from your sperm and not someone else's, doesn't mean you're going to be a better parent!

God help us all and God help the new generation. This country is only getting worse and worse. Don't get me wrong; I'm not sitting here today feeling upset or annoyed about the twats from last night. I just feel saddened that it is yet again another example of how ridiculous our country is. First we have Jade Goody on the front of all our magazines (what an embarrassment) and then we get celebs to nightclubs just to boo them (and then ask them for a picture afterwards). I don't feel proud of our country in any way. In fact as soon as I have made enough money I will be retiring abroad, somewhere beautiful, to raise my own kids and live happily ever after. Then, when I'm long gone; they can boo the next "Jodie Marsh" whoever that poor soul may be - it might even be one of their own kids! No, hang on..... a child born to a mum and dad who go to nightclubs just to boo at celebs who have done nothing wrong? Er, no, they won't stand a chance of making it really will they? Poor things.........

Anyway, enough about last night. Take pity on them and forget about it. Before the P.A I went to film Al Murray's (Pub Landlord) new TV show. It's going to be on this Saturday night on ITV. I was the "Celeb in the audience". I got paid a fortune to say two lines! That's my type of job!!!!!! Why can't I get more work like that?! Stiffy, Jordan and my publicist Jo came with me. Jermaine Jackson and Anneka Rice were there too. Unfortunately Preston the gimp from the Ordinary Boys was there aswell. He wouldn't even look at me in the green room. Ha ha. Probably because he knows that I know that his "marriage" was a publicity stunt. My brother fancied Anneka Rice and has decided that she NEEDS to get back in those skin-tight jumpsuits. I loved Anneka Rice on Challenge Anneka. I think they are bringing it back. That would be the perfect show for me. I can sell ice to Eskimos and I can blag ANYTHING. I've never paid to get in a nightclub and in fourteen years of clubbing (going way back before I was even famous); I've never queued to get into or paid for a drink in a club. Blagging free stuff is the way forward!

Today I had the day off. My cleaners will be here soon and my house will be all sparkly. Jordan has gone to pick a song-writer up from the airport who is coming to stay with him for 3 days to write songs and I will probably go and meet them in a bit. Lashes is coming over after work and on that subject - I still can't believe his tattoo!!!! How good? What a man! I've had tons and tons of messages on Myspace about it (everyone thinks it's great!). He is a true legend! People keep telling me he is "The One" but I'm not getting my hopes up. We all know what men are like. Even if it doesn't last though; I will always have a deep respect for him for getting that tattoo. He's done more for animal rights than some of the celebs that have stripped off for PETA! "Cough, cough, hmmmn, Naomi Campbell, Traci Bingham, Dennis Rodman" He's a star in the making and someone who gives you his word and means it. Plus, of course he's very good-looking (which helps) and he's intelligent (which really helps). I love fit men (who doesn't) but I really love fit INTELLIGENT men. There's nothing worse than being with someone who can't hold a decent conversation and who is narrow minded and set in their ways. I like people who are open to change and new possibilities. I like people who want to learn and who are striving to be better all the time. Lashes is one of those people (I think anyway). He listens to what people have to say and he always has something to say for himself. Speaking of striving to be better; I saw a sign on the wall at Amadeus last night which said "Always strive to win" - I don't believe in that personally, I think it should just say "always win!"

So, on that note I am going to go and take the dogs for a walk and then have a coffee with Jord. I hope you are all having a good week.

All my love Jodie x x x

P.S Quote for the day 'We won't lose our lives if we speak out against animal wrongs wherever we see them. But the animals do lose theirs if we don't. So we must.' - Ingrid Newkirk, PETA.

P.P.S To all the nice people last night - thank you; and to all the idiotic ones - try to have a good life, I know you haven't been blessed with massive brains and it's not your fault but make the most of what you've got! Mwah! x

P.P.P.S my myspace is www.myspace.com/youwishiwasyourbird add me, leave me comments and enjoy my pics and videos - just don't get the hump if I don't reply - I get thousands of messages a day (and for all I know you are a weirdo who goes to see me on stage just to boo at me!)
