14th June 2006 - My bum feels tight!

Wow I can feel my bum tightening as I type! I did another salsa class last night. So, to explain.... I am now doing 4 salsa classes a week. Two on a Monday (beginners and intermediate) and two on a Tuesday (beginners and intermediate). Lauren is doing the Monday classes with me and last night my mum and dad and Tony joined us. Pants and Russ were supposed to come too but Pants didn't manage to get back from work in time and Russ was just being a girl. He ended up coming with Jord and a bird to stand at the bar and watch us!

Tony did brilliantly! Me and Lauren have been going for two weeks now and he picked it up as quickly as us! By the end of last night's session we were doing a full choreographed routine and Tony was spinning me round the floor! The great thing is that he loved it and can't wait for next week. It's such good exercise too. By a month's time I plan to be toned to the max and dancing like Baby in Dirty Dancing!

It's funny cos we had a real nightmare trying to get the boys to come and do it with us. Tony ended up being the only one man enough. The point they are all missing is that ALL women love a man who can dance. It's the biggest turn-on ever and immediately makes even the geekiest-looking bloke sexy! Why do men think that Dirty Dancing is 90% of the female populations favourite film?! Let me give you a clue..... It's nothing to do with the old couple who rob everyone! Jeeez men can be so dumb sometimes! If I see a man dancing well, I immediately fancy him and normally end up fighting with my mates as to who's gonna chat him up! It really is the sexiest thing in the world (well, that and Valentino Rossi on a bike). I'm pleased Tony came but irritated that the others chickened out.

I took Cris Judd back to mine after he threw me round the dance floor in Ten Rooms one night. It turned me on so mush that I'd have jumped him there and then on the dance floor!

Anyway, enough moaning about my wet lettuce friends. They'll be jellus when one day soon we're all in a night club throwing moves that put everyone else to shame. They'll all wish they came and learnt with us! I can't wait to go to a proper salsa club and get properly involved! Apparently Ronnie Scott's do a salsa night and it's just like the scene in the club where Baby carries a watermelon. Everyone bumping and grinding and hot and sweaty! Joy! I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing right now!

My mum and dad really enjoyed it too. They will definitely be back next week.

Right now I am at my mum's with all 8 dogs. I've done some obedience training with the Chihuahuas and in about ten minutes time I have a phone interview to do for a magazine. After that someone is coming to the house from It's Me or the Dog to film a little bit of our progress.

Sally Craddock called me yesterday (Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene's wife). She wanted to invite me to a music awards that Paul Weller is going to. Unfortunately I'm busy with secret things and can't go. It's so annoying that I can't tell anybody what I'm up to at the moment! As soon as I can tell all though, I will! All in good time..........

I'm still addicted to Big Brother as well. It's not good for my health! I truly love Nikki, Glyn and Pete. They are so amusing to watch! Sitting watching it last night after salsa I realised something though; as mush as I loathe Grace and some of the others, I could NEVER bring myself to actually pick up the phone and vote. Realistically I don't know these people and I wouldn't feel right about sitting at home viciously dialling a number to try and get rid of someone from the show. It's weird; I suppose some people think nothing of picking up the phone to try and evict someone, I just couldn't do it! In all honesty, it just doesn't bother me that mush. Yes I'd rather see Grace go on Friday cos she's been the instigator of all the trouble in the house but it won't affect my life if she stays. I can't believe how many people DO vote though! DO they honestly care that mush or is it that they just get so wrapped up in the whole hype of it that they can't stop themselves! I just don't know! I mean, if you know someone personally then I fully understand voting but if you've never met them, why would you waste your money and effort in making the call?! If the money from the calls all went to Charity then fine or if it's a program like Strictly Dance Fever and you're voting on actual talent then fine; I just don't understand people who vote to kick people off a TV show where the only thing they are doing is sitting around talking. Big Brother isn't about talent, it's not about charity. It's about a load of people who are so desperate to be famous that they go into a show that could possibly last three whole months. They sit around doing nothing and they put their lives into the producers hands to let them edit it any way they want. The house itself isn't nice. It's basically a studio. You live under studio lights and cameras. It's grubby and messy. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I raised over £50,000 for my charity and for a week's work, that isn't bad! If I was a normal person wanting to get famous though, you wouldn't get me on that show in a million years! Nutters, the lot of em'! ;)

Anyway, I'm off to get on with my days work. The dogs are all play fighting like mad in the next room. I'm starving hungry so I'm going home to make a cheese bagel and practise a few salsa moves while I do my phone interview.

Have a good day people, I'll write again soon!
