I officially now know what the word "tired" means. Definition of tired is: being picked up at 7am, filming all day and getting home at 1am the following morning (which is what has just happened to me). It's 1am and I have just got in from the longest day ever in the whole world.
The filming is great, in fact; I'm loving it and doing a great job (so I'm told). It's just sooooooo long! I am going straight to bed the minute I finish this blog cos I am having trouble keeping my eyes open. There were lots of dramas at work today (which you will see when the TV show airs) and these have melted the last tiny bit of my brain that was left! I have absolutely nothing to tell you cos I'm not allowed to talk about the bloody TV show and I don't have a life outside of that at the moment! Oooooh - I can tell you though that my mum booked ice-skating today (those of you regular blog readers will know that about 20 of us go ice-skating every Christmas). This year there's me, Dave, Jord, Alex, Fit Bod, Stevie, Sarah, Tony, Rusty, DJ Mark, marge & parge and loads of others (Jo I didn't ask you babe cos I'm pretty sure you hated every minute of it last year! Ha ha). I'm very excited for that cos it's always very funny. Every single one of us falls over at some point! Also it's just nice cos the rink is lit with millions of fairy lights and they play Christmas songs over the P.A. It's one of those things you just HAVE to do at Christmas with all your best mates and family cos it makes you feel all warm and loved inside. It's kind of like a group bonding exercise with falls and laughter and silliness (and lots of hand-holding)!
So - there's nothing else I can say, other than; has anyone got a sleeping tablet?! Ha ha. I'm verging on hysteria from being so tired and yet I feel like I could stay up all night! It's funny cos the less sleep I have, the more hyper I become! I have spent the last four hours of filming laughing like a maniac and trying to behave myself! All the crew were the same though and by the end of the day we were all considering seeing a psychiatrist for how unstable we all felt! It's amazing what a lack of sleep and a load of drama will do to a person!
Oh - just thought of one thing I can tell you; we made a bit of a break-through with the cat and dogs last night! Me and Dave were going to watch a film in bed. The cat was in the room with us and Paddy and Lyla were crying outside the door. I stood it for about 30 seconds and then said "I'm gonna have to let them in!" - you know me, there's NO WAY I can stand to hear animals crying (especially not my own) and I couldn't leave them outside in the hall like that. So, I have a REALLY massive cupboard in my bedroom. On top of it is all my motorbike gear so we cleared that all off and laid a big fluffy throw down on the top of it. We then put the cat up there and let the dogs in the room for a bit. After five minutes or so the dogs fell asleep and it gave the cat a chance to really study them at a safe distance (and also feeling safe cos he was so high up and he loves being high up). Jordan arrived a short while later to take the dogs to my mum's house for the night anyway but the cat seemed to really calm down when he realised the dogs couldn't get to him or hurt him (not that they would but he'd never seen another animal til he met Pads and Lyla). Because I was getting up so early and going straight to work, it was better that the dogs stayed at "nanny and grandad's" cos my dad took them for a walk this morning. I'm very pleased with how calm they all were though once in a room together!!! We'll be trying that again!
Ha ha - sorry just realised how boring that must have been for you to read! It's such a shame that I am bound and gagged with this show for now! Otherwise I would be sharing all the juicy details and dramas with you! Instead you have to hear the "amazing" story of how the cat looked at the dogs! Don't worry - you shouldn't have to wait too long til I can reveal all and make you laugh!
Anyway, I really am going to bed now cos the whites of my eyeballs have gone red (and that's never a good sign). Hope you all had a good day!
Loads of love Jodie x x x
P.S Quote for the day "It's gonna be a long hard drag, but we'll make it!" Janis Joplin - quite relevant I thought! X x x
