Well, I've been away and now I'm back. I didn't mention it before cos I didn't want the paparazzi finding out where I was going. I've been in Marbella for Linsey Dawn MacKenzie's wedding to her gorgeous footballer fiancé Mark Williams. It was AMAZING!!!!!! Lins had done a deal with a magazine for the wedding pictures so nobody else was allowed pictures, hence us all remaining tight lipped about the wedding. Anyway, Kyle and I flew out there on Wednesday night and we arrived back really late last night. Rusty drove us to the airport at 4am Wednesday night/Thursday morning and we arrived in time to have a whole day of relaxing. We saw Linsey almost immediately after checking into our hotel (we stayed in a suite in the hotel they got married in), she looked amazing. She's had her boobs reduced by about 4 sizes (I think I mentioned that on previous blog). She's always been of tiny frame but now her boobs (although still massive) suit her more and she honestly looks the best I've ever seen her look. I mean, Linsey is stunning always but she looked more than stunning!
Unfortunately our first day in Marbella wasn't very sunny so we took off to the hotel salon and Kyle had a few treatments while I got reflexology and a leg massage. After that we had some lunch and then relaxed in our room. That night, we got dressed up and went into Puerto Banus. It's the famous port where all the millionaires keep their yachts; it's also where all the clubs and bars are. On the flight on the way out, we met a load of famous footballers and within an hour of checking into our hotel one of them had texted me. He had called my agent in England asking for my number (which he gave him). As soon as we arrived in the port, the footballer texted me to ask where I was and when I told him, it turned out we were in the very next bar. We all met up for a drink and when the boys wanted to go off to a club, we stayed in the bar. We had seats outside and we had also met up with some friends of Kyles from London, we didn't fancy a club and ended up staying in the bar til 3.30am. The owner of the bar sent about 50 free shots over to our table (which was nice). At one point some people joined us and saw us drinking the shots. They decided to order a round (probably thinking it was free) and were shocked to be given a bill for £50 for 5 drinks. Sometimes it's really nice to be well known ;)
We got a taxi back to our hotel and stumbled up to the door to be let in at 4am by the night porter. In the morning, we got up early wanting to do some sunbathing and found that the weather was still grey and cloudy. With that, we got a taxi back to the port and spent the day shopping. I got some absolutely amazing clothes!!! Put it this way: I now have my full summer wardrobe and it's all things that nobody else will have! I got jeans, pedal pushers, skirts, slinky tops, vests, hats, shoes. In fact I bought enough to fill another whole suitcase (a LARGE suitcase!). We had a very nice lunch in the port and then went back to our hotel to meet my friend Jess and her mum (who were also out there for the wedding). Jess is the one who introduced me to Jamie Foxx a few weeks ago. One of the first things she said was how annoyed she had been at the rag papers printing that I had come onto Jamie and that he hadn't been interested. She ranted with me for 20 minutes about how unfair it was. If you remember from previous blog, I only went over to say "hello" cos Jess wanted me to and Jamie wanted me to dance with him. I didn't come onto him in the slightest, in fact, he was (to quote Jess) "visibly interested and excited to meet me" and until meeting me "hadn't shown interest like that in anyone". Anyway, that night after I left the club, Jess phoned me. I didn't see the call until the morning but she tells me in Marbella that the reason she was phoning was because Jamie had asked her to call me and see if I would meet up with him. Oh well. I'm not bothered, it's just annoying yet again that the papers have to make up lies and twist things. Jess said she's been screwing ever since as she saw what really happened and couldn't believe how the papers twist things.
Moving on, that night we had dinner with Jess and her mum Diane and then when Diane went to bed, the three of us jumped in a cab to the port. Once there, we had a load of drinks in a bar and at around 1am moved onto a club. The club was high up in a tower and all open-air over-looking the port. It was very beautiful and of course the footballers were there. I actually fancied one of them, unfortunately not the one that had been texting me though. The one I fancied though did make a beeline for me and we flirted and chatted, before I told him I was a lesbian and snogged Jess to prove it. Dur! See....? Too many vodkas and I act like an imbecile. I fancied him so why did I lie and push him away?! God only knows how my mind works. I actually had him believing by the end of then night that I had been with Jess for a year and that I was totally head over heels in love. I mean, our kiss was very passionate and would have fooled anyone, but blimey I can be a div sometimes!
At 4.30am we were still drinking in the club and all I could think about was getting up early the next day (well, in a few hours) for the wedding. I had to drag Kyle kicking and screaming back to the hotel. He had found out that the club stayed open til 8am and wanted to stay til the bitter end. If I hadn't had the wedding of one of my best mates to go to, I'd have wanted to stay too but I knew we needed to go home.
The next day we woke up feeling surprisingly good and after lunch with Jess and her mum, we made our way back to our rooms to get ready. I bumped into Mark (now Linsey's husband) on my way up and he told me he was really nervous. We had a half hour chat and I was soon showering and beautifying myself. The day before we flew out, Kyle and I went to Bluewater and I bought the most stunning dress and shoes. The shoes cost an absolute bomb (£700) but were worth every penny. Once I was dressed and ready I felt a million dollars. The dress was just right, classy and pretty without being too sexy. It was very floaty; it almost had a Grecian feel to it, with gold edges and lots of different colours. The shoes, well I can't even describe how amazing they are. Gold with gold heels. A toe ring, with an amber stone set into the ring, to hold them on and a huge gold bangle that goes around the ankle. I finished off the whole look with lots of gold bangles, gold hoop earrings and a gold headband. My hair was piled on top of my head and I blended gold into my eyeshadow.
Kyle wore a black suit with a black see-through kind of shirt. He wore a huge diamond belt and silver and diamond rosary beads. He looked amazing. Once we were ready, we went downstairs to where the guests were all congregating and we met up with a load of other friends, including Lucy Becker (glamour model or otherwise known as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz from my fancy dress party - see gallery) and her husband Julian. They both looked amazing too. In fact, everyone looked amazing. I've never seen so many diamonds and Gina shoes all in one place! Just before the ceremony, the photographer grabbed me for some pictures with Lins in her room. I walked in and the sight of her took my breath away. Her dress was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! She looked like a fairytale princess. The dress was ivory with diamonds encrusting the whole of the top part. The huge full skirt was sprinkled with diamonds and her tiara matched the top part of the dress. She wore a £20k diamond bracelet.
After the shots were done, I made my way to my seat and ten minutes later she was walking down the aisle. Mark was standing at the top with his best mate also called Mark, who was holding their baby Luca. All three of them were in Ivory and baby blue suits and they too looked exceptional. I had a few little tears at the ceremony (everyone who watched Trust Me I'm A Holiday Rep would know I always cry at weddings) and after it was over, I had to go up to the front to sign the marriage book. Me and Mark were their witnesses. I was very proud to have been asked!
We then had the meal (I sat at the top table with Lins, Mark and Mark), the speeches, the cutting of the cake and the PARTY! The whole day was amazing. Everyone had the best time ever. It went smoothly and beautifully. We all got a bit tipsy and danced our socks off, until by 3am, there were just ten of us left (out of 100). We sat outside under the canopies they had married under and sang songs, played silly games and told jokes. Linsey had changed into a track suit but still had her stockings and suspenders and garter on underneath! Go girl! Eventually we got into bed at around 4am, drunk and happy.
The next day Linsey and Mark had a party at their house for Luca's first birthday. Everyone who was at the wedding came and it was again, an amazing day. They had caterers in for the day so we were treated to lovely food all day. They had clowns for the kids and a DJ for the night-time. The party went on til 4am again, by which time we were drunkenly laying on the beds they had in their garden, chatting. Linsey and Mark were telling us the story of how they met and me and Kyle were perving over Linsey's cousin who was the fittest bloke we'd ever seen (don't know why she kept that one hidden all this time!). Alicia Douvall was at the wedding and party and until now, I hadn't really ever spoken to her. I see her out all the time but we'd never been properly introduced. Plus, of course when I first got famous and had a very public war with Jordan (the hideous, not to be confused with my brother Jordan), she went out in a t-shirt that said "I love Jordan" on it. Anyway, turned out she's a really nice girl and so is her daughter. Kyle and I seemed to attract everyone's kids that day and we spent all afternoon playing with them and talking to them. We loved it! Give us kids over adults any day - I think it's cos we refuse to grow up ourselves that we love chatting with the kids and teenagers!
The next day was yesterday and we got up late, checked out of our room late and had a late lunch. When we finished, Linsey picked us up to go back to hers for the afternoon. We laid on the sun-beds in the garden and I hugged Luca and played with him. Early evening, about 30 of us went to a restaurant near Linsey and Mark's house and had a lovely meal. The boys had been out playing golf all day so Linsey I presented the winners and losers with some trophies and then it was time for us to go. We flew home at 11pm last night and Jord picked us up at the airport.
We had such a lovely time out there. We are definitely going out to see Linsey, Mark and Luca again very soon. It was just the break I needed and I now feel refreshed (if a little tired) and happy. It was the perfect dream wedding, the guests were all lovely, we got to catch up with lots of friends and we loved it. We've swopped numbers and email addresses with footballers, models and other nice people and we are all going to stay in touch.
Today I have been out for lunch with Jordan and we have booked flights to Italy to go and stay with our mate Peppe who has bought a hotel out there. I can't wait! I haven't been away with Jord for years and it'll be lovely to see Peppe.
You may notice that you can now listen to Jord's songs on my site. Scroll down to the bottom of the main blog page and you can choose what songs you want to listen to.
I'm off to bed now cos I am absolutely knackered. Paddy is already up there waiting for me. I can't write anymore now cos my eyes are closing by themselves so I will write again tomorrow. There's loads more to say about the wedding so as and when I remember stuff, I'll put it on the site. I've had an amazing five days, I now know that I wouldn't rule out the possibility of going out with a footballer, oh....... and I want a baby (after playing with Luca all weekend)!!!!!!!
Lots of love and diamond-studded kisses
xxxxxxxxx
