Hello everyone on this beautiful sunny day. I'm so excited that summer is ever-nearing! I can't wait to drag out all my summer clothes and flip flops. This week so far I have been busy with work and in between that I have been writing my novel and taking short breaks to go on the internet looking at things to buy. I want to buy a quad bike and a buggy (which looks like an upright go-kart or beach buggy) for the summer. Both are road legal and I think it would be sooooo mush fun to have one of each to drive around the countryside of where I live on. I called my ex Scott Sullivan (who's a bike nut) to get his opinion on which ones are the best and he has told me to get a named brand like Honda, Suzuki or Kawasaki. I then spoke to my friend who is the marketing director of Suzuki and he told me we can sort something out. I'm seeing him this weekend so hopefully in the next few weeks I will be taking delivery of a new quad and/or buggy.
I've also been looking at trampolines online and have had some brochures sent over. I want to get a giant round one. I've seen the one I want, it's just a question of now whether I get a harness thing to do somersaults with as well. You know the things I mean?! They sometimes have them in shopping centres or at exhibitions, it's two giant metal legs that stand over a trampoline with two rubber cords that come down into the middle and a harness thing that you sit in. Once in it, you can bounce even higher and do flips and turns in the air. They look like so mush fun! I probably will get that as well as just the trampoline. I want to turn my house and garden into a nutty play den for the summer. What with motorbikes, mini motos (see pics in gallery), a stripper pole and then a quad, buggy and trampoline with somersault harness I think I'll be well on my way to having my own Neverland!
I'm getting my new car at the end of this week too. It's a giant pick up truck called an Intimidator. It's the same size as a Dodge Ram (which, for anyone that doesn't know what that is, it's a GIANT American pick up truck, my mate Dave Morgan has got one). It's that big that it can't be towed or clamped! I've ordered a black one with blacked out windows. I've also ordered all the goodies, including sat nav and cctv cameras that go on the outside of the car with tv screen inside. My audi TT was sold earlier this week to a dealer and he came to pick it up. I was out when he came to get it so I didn't even get to say goodbye to her
Seriously though, I'm so excited to get my new car. I've always loved 4-wheel drives and trucks. Being the tomboy that I am, I always used to have big cars. My first two cars were Vitara's and I always used to drive my dad's Landcruiser around as well. I've only had sportier cars recently but have quickly become bored of them and started craving something big and meaty. In steps the Intimidator! If you want big, you can't get bigger than this!!! I've had to have it imported as they are not yet available in this country and I've been waiting for months to get it! Since I don't have a car at the moment, my dad has lent me a company one to drive around in. It's another pick up truck (only mush mush smaller than the one I'm getting), it's a Nissan. I quite like it but it looks like a girl's car compared to the one I'm getting. Oh, and nearly forgot to say - my dad is getting an Intimidator too!!! We're having a matching pair. He's also getting a black one. It's the only colour to have really. It look so mean and sexy in black. As soon as I get it, I'll take a pic of me with it and put it on the site so you can see how stunning it is.
This week I have also been looking into having a conservatory built on the back of my house. Everyone is still on at me to get a hot tub in it too. I'm not that fussed by hot tubs as I get bored just sitting there in water (I'd rather be on a jet-ski on the sea in Barbados) but I'm still thinking about it. The conservatory is a must. It'd be beautiful to sit in on a warm summers evening with all the doors open onto the garden. Even in winter it can still be heated and used as another chill out room. I'm collecting quotes for now and will get to work on it as soon as I find the one I want.
With all this excitement, I can hardly cope! The conservatory has to be perfect, furnished beautifully and has to be cosy and full of trees and plants. I want it to look like a jungle in there! The trampoline, quad and buggy are just going to be loads and loads of fun and my new car is so powerful that I nearly wet my knickers every time I think of it!
I spoke to Kenzie last night. He's taking his driving theory test tomorrow. I'm sure he'll pass. I'll be on the phone again tomorrow night to see if he did! I taught him to drive while we were in Barbados. He picked it up quickly and only nearly crashed once (which wasn't bad going I thought for someone who had never driven before!). I hope he does sort it out and get a car soon though. It means he can come and visit me whenever he likes without having to get his friends to drive him over. Not that they mind, but driving yourself is having the freedom to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. I also spoke to Jo from S Club 7 last night. She's having a well earned break at the moment. She's been working hard all year so is taking a few days off doing nothing at home. In fact when I spoke to her, she was laying in front of the TV. She's going to come over when we're both free and see my new house.
Yesterday I filmed a TV show called The Bitchiest TV Moments Ever. Three of the shows I was in were featured in the show (The Games, Trust Me I'm A Holiday Rep and Big Brother). Fortunately I wasn't actually involved in any of the bitchiness, it was all centred around Katy Hill, Jasmine Leonnard and Pete Burns being vile but they wanted my opinion on what really happened. I actually felt quite good afterwards, it made me realise that in all the TV I've ever done; I've NEVER been a bitch. Not that I ever am a bitch (well, only if someone starts on me first but then they deserve to be pulled down a peg or two) but I'd hate it if someone made a show about bitchiness and included me as one of the bitches. I'm still getting people sat to me EVERY single day that if they had been in my shoes on CBB, they'd have hit Michael Barrymore and they don't know how I managed to control myself. I pride myself on the fact that no matter how horrible they were in that house, I never lost my cool or smacked anyone. It seems everybody I ever meet on the street would have lamped him one (along with Pete Burns and George Galloway) and they always praise my calmness and dignity. I might have cried a few times but that was more to do with it being the anniversary of Kim's death than what was actually going on in the house. Anyway, it's done and dusted. The TV show yesterday was fun and I'll look forward to it being on.
I'm off now, I have to go and meet my brother for lunch and then I'm going to take Paddy for a walk in the park. Have a good day everyone
xxxx
