OH MY GOD!!! I am so excited I'm going to BURST!!!! My stomach is doing flips over and over (kind of like when I first met Paul Weller and Rossi) and I can't get this insane grin off my face. I started filming today for the new TV show. I've just been told I AM allowed to talk about it so here goes.
It's called the All Star Variety Show. Basically it's about celebs having hidden talents and they asked me to do it (and asked what my talent was). Before I got famous all I ever really did and wanted to do was dance. As a child I won gold medals in competitions all over the country for Latin American, Ballroom and Street dance. As an adult I worked in nightclubs all over the country as a podium dancer and then obviously turned to stripping and pole and lap dancing. I am truly at my happiest when dancing. In fact if I could have made serious amounts of money out of dancing then I would have done it for the rest of my life (instead I realised that to make serious money I could flop my baps out for a bit. Ha ha). So.... Obviously I chose dancing as my 'hidden talent'. Initially I thought I could do a really sexy street dance but then we also discussed perhaps doing a salsa routine. I went today for the first of the filming and met all the crew.
As I got out of the car at the studios, I bumped straight into Vanessa. She's the woman who choreographs and mentors the dancers on Strictly Dance Fever and those kind of shows. After the judges have given their comments, she's the one the couples then go and sit with over the other side on the sofa. I'm a huge fan of hers and I went all giggly when I met her. Firstly I am soooooo honoured to be working with such a dancing legend! Secondly, I get told that my partner for the dance is Ben from the last series of Strictly Dance Fever. He's the gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS one who partnered Stephanie, he got down to the final 3 with Lana and Darren and Hollie and Darrien. By far he was the best male dancer on the show and also the strongest. He was picking Stephanie up and throwing her all over the place doing amazing lifts and everything! I'm such a fan of the show and loved him so mush on it. I can't BELIEVE I'm actually working with 2 of my favourite people from it! Seriously I know I sound like a right geek fan but Ben is so gorgeous (he was the heart-throb of the show - the one getting knickers sent to him in the post) and he's the most amazing dancer and I respect Vanessa soooo mush! I agreed with everything she ever said on the show and loved her! This is truly a dream come true for me!
After today's first rehearsal and meeting with Vanessa, we have decided that we should do an American Smooth dance. Think Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire! Think twirling, gliding and floating round the dance floor in a huge glistening gown. Think being lifted in the air by a strapping and handsome young man in a tux!!! I am living my dream!!!
The show is going to be on live every Friday night! (I'm so God damn excited I can't even type quick enough) The public get to vote for who they want to win each week and then all the winners go into a main final on the last week. To be perfectly honest I don't even care if I don't win my show. Of course I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be the best thing in the whole world but just getting to dance with Ben and be taught by Vanessa is more than enough for me. Just doing it the once will make me happier than anything else in the world! Honestly I am so chuffed. I can't stop smiling!!! Ha ha.
Anyway, I don't wanna keep going on about it cos for anyone who doesn't even know who Ben and Vanessa are, it's probably really boring but just one last time; I am so happppppeeeeeeee!!! I've got to ring Ben this afternoon - I'm just trying to calm down first so that I don't sound like a weird gibbering wreck when I speak to him. God, words don't describe how great I feel about this! Put me in a dance studio and I'm in heaven, put me with a fit bloke who can also dance and I'm in double heaven, put me with one of the greatest dancers and choreographers ever and I can't take the excitement trying to burst out of every pore in my body. I won't stop smiling for weeks now!!!
Ok - back to other things....
My mate Gary sent me this text last night (it really made me laugh!): Jodie Marsh in bed with her boyfriend, says "how dare you call me a slapper?!!!! Get out of my bed and take your f*cking mates with you!!"
Love it! It tickled me even more because at the weekend I did actually have not one, but two blokes in my bed (although as I said before I slept on the sofa). Although there was that one time in the barn with 3 blokes and another girl................
Also today I want to share with you a poem school-teacher Lauren wrote about me. I told you yesterday that I've been playing cards a lot recently and we have a little book that we write in to keep score of who's winning. Well, when Lauren gets bored, she writes poems in it about her friends, here's the one she wrote about me:

See - do I have the best friends in the whole wide world or what!?! It brought a tear to my eye the first time I read it, and if I'm ever feeling a bit sad I read it and it makes me feel all warm and happy inside. I love it. I might even get it printed up beautifully and framed to put on my wall. Lauren is the best!!!!!
So after getting up at 6am this morning (I didn't get to bed til 3am in the end after Jord and Mark left), I got washed and dressed and rolled into the car. The driver was one who had driven me loads before and he said straight away "go to sleep Jode and I'll wake you up when we get there!". I always take a pillow with me so I snuggled up and slept the whole way. I actually feel alright now. I phoned all my best mates in the car on the way home to share my excitement with them about how good the day had been. Even though I've had 4 hours sleep in total I'm buzzing so mush I need to celebrate. Jord has just phoned to say do I wanna go for some food and Lauren is gonna meet us too. We had already planned to go out tonight anyway so I might just start partying from this afternoon. Jord has another gig tonight which I'm going to go to and then we will probably go clubbing. It's normally very young out in Brentwood on a Thursday night but that's all good. I might have a cheeky snog with an 18 year old! Bring it on!
So, I hope you are all having as good a day as me. It might be raining over here in Essex but inside my body it's a scorching hot Barbados day. Ha ha. I'm going to dance my way to Brentwood now to meet Jord.
