It's nearly 1am on Thursday night, Friday morning. I have just had to pick Russ and Jordan up from Brentwood and cram them into my 2-seater TT. I have dropped Jord back at the house but made Rusty come back with me as I suddenly realised I felt a bit scared on my own. My meetings today went really well. We now have the American branch of our firm getting on Myspace's back for identity theft. All good. Aside from that, I had meetings with people about TV shows. Again; all looking good. Obviously I can't tell you who I met with or what TV shows we talked about but it was very interesting and I'm very excited at the thought of working with them. My dad came with me as some of the meetings were quite important and I wanted someone else to be there to witness them. Like I said, I'm happy with the outcome.
Now I am sitting in my lounge next to Russ, who has only one eye open (even the one that's open is bloodshot red). He just leaned over to see what I was writing and said "you can't write that!" - erm, yes I can Russ.......
They have been out in Brentwood tonight, while I stayed in. I didn't get home til quite late anyway. Jordan brought me a portion of chips with cheese and burger sauce over from the chip shop and we stuffed ourselves. Lauren joined us after she finished school and then we watched a bit of TV. We watched that new show Stacked that Pammie is in. I loved every second of it! In fact, me and Kyle were screaming down the phone to each other the whole way through. He made me tape it so that we can watch it again the next time he's here. We also watched the Great British Wedding. Hilarious! There was a travellers wedding and the bride's dress was extremely similar to the giant pink thing Jordan wore on her wedding day, only the traveller's one was 100 times nicer! The bride even had the same big ball thing pulled by horses to take her to the church! Oh how we laughed. Does anyone know if Jordan did actually used to be a traveller?! Sorry, I just can't help myself sometimes!
Russ is now watching the table tennis match at the Commonwealth Games. He said they are amazingly quick but so far I haven't seen anything that impressive! They are doing something called a "High Toss" which is amusing me greatly. Also the commentator has just said "it was tight" and then followed it up with "he had come to the table" and "he had a good flick" and "there's juice" and "the pace of the stroke"; without watching it, it sounds like porn. Russ and I are in hysterics. Is it just us with really dirty minds or is this the naughtiest sport and/or commentator ever?! I can't figure it out. Every comment out of his mouth could be taken another way. It's brilliant!
I remember when I did The Games and Curling was one of the events. I loved nothing more than to say "I'm just gonna go and curl one off". Ha ha. Sorry, that's gross. It's actually one of my brother's sayings but it kept me amused for weeks during the lessons.
I went on line earlier and ordered every book Jackie Collins has ever written. I already had about 7 of her books but felt I couldn't rest until I had them all. If you've never read one - you should; especially if you're a woman or gay man. Her books are so fab. They're based on true people and events around Hollywood. Pure escapism - once I've started one, I can't put it down until I've finished it. I finished Thrill the other day and I'm starting on Hollywood Husbands tonight. I've decided to start writing my novel in the next few days. My head is in exactly the right place and I know exactly what I want the first one to be about. British Jackie Collins. All the stuff that was too rude or not relevant enough to put in my autobiography. I'm talking about the sleazier side of showbiz that I get to see on a weekly basis. Trust me, I've seen it all. I've seen models snorting coke off tables in VIP rooms and I've seen all sorts of people shagging in public places. I've seen a household name pee in a jug of orange juice and make another house hold name drink it (unaware of the fact that it had been peed in). Oh yes, it's all going into my first "novel". I'll base it on real things and real people; only the reader will be left guessing who and what it's about. Trust me, I'm going to send shivers down your spine.
My cleaners came today and my house is all sparkly again. They are also now cleaning Boy in the Attic's (Max's) house. Gradually all my mates are going to employ them. They're so brilliant. Max texted me earlier saying "I don't even recognise my own house - it's brand new again!" I was out when they came but Paddy was here so I'm sure he got loads of fuss! They love him, and for that, he loves them. He gets very excited when they come!
Paddy has just farted the eggiest, smelliest fart in the whole world. With that, (and also because Russ has just turned Floyd's cooking show back on) I am going to bed. TV is rubbish at 1.30am. Can somebody please make something interesting to watch and put it on late at night for all the people like me who don't sleep that mush?!
Oooooh.... Before I go, I nearly forgot to say; I got the dvd of The Streets video today that I'm in. It's so wicked. I love it, I love it, I love it. Obviously I'm very critical of my performance in it but I love it all the same. I love it just for the fact that I am alongside Mike Skinner for pretty mush all of it and because I get to kiss him a big smacker on the cheek at the end. The last shot is of me kissing him............
..........................sorry, got so excited I had to quickly play the video to Russ!! The song itself "When you wasn't famous" with a rap by Professor Green is f*cking wicked; and I'm not just saying that cos I'm in the video. It really is the nuts. I loved it from the first time I heard it. And I KNOW about good music! Good music isn't about manufactured boy bands or glamour models in silly pink rubber suits! Hopefully you'll see the video on MTV very soon anyway. And if not, I'll find a way to get it on my site!
I'm off now. Have a great day. Bed calls and Paddy is still farting eggy farts. Anyone got a nose-clip?
xxxxx
