Today is Tuesday and I am recovering from a heavy Easter weekend. I can't remember what I last wrote so am going to start from Saturday. Saturday was Rusty's birthday. Loads of us all met in the slug in Brentwood and after an hour we moved onto Sugar Hut. I wasn't drinking cos I wanted to drive my new truck (and also cos I'd been very drunk the night before). Everyone was battered by about 9pm and the night didn't finish til 3am so you can imagine the state of everyone. My mate Michelle (whose fault it is that I am famous - read my book) came out which was very nice cos I haven't been out with her properly in ages. She slipped off early though, leaving me and Lauren to fend off very drunk, very annoying men. Lauren and I ended up back at mine cooking chips at 4am.
Sunday I had a lovely roast dinner with my mum and dad and little nan and then came home to get ready. Jordan was playing at Sugar Hut (which was open til 2am cos of the Bank Holiday) and I had a P.A at Jumpin' Jaks in Basildon. We all met in Brentwood at 8pm, did a little pub crawl before going to the gig. By the time my tour manager picked me up at 10.15pm, I was drunk. Lauren and Michelle came with me to the P.A. I was looking forward to it because it's been ages since I did a P.A in Essex, unfortunately the crowd weren't as excited as I was ;)
When I got on stage, half the people loved it and half the people hated it. I spent 20 minutes waffling on the mic; the people that loved it listened intently to what I was saying (I have no clue now what I was saying but I'm sure it was something funny), the other half booed throughout it. Oh well, you can't please everyone. It was the easiest buck I've ever made as exactly one hour later; I was back in Sugar Hut with all my mates getting even more inebriated. I even managed to take a 21 year old fit young boy home with me!!!! Result! The first time I ever snogged him, he was 16 years old and I terrified the life out of him. Now though, he's 21 and raring to go. He's built like a brick sh*t house and smothered in tattoos (just the way I like them). Let's just say I had a very very good night.
Yesterday my fit bloke left around 10am and I spent the rest of the day in the Horse and Groom. My brother had a gig there which started at 2.30pm and we ended up staying there til about 8o'clock. We all had a little dance and a few games of darts and then a few of us went for an Indian. After that we all came back to mine for a film. I fell asleep on the sofa (somebody must have worn me out the night before) and I woke up at 9am this morning.
Today me, Russ, Jord and our mate Emma Lightowler (who we all went to school with) spent the afternoon in a pub in Brentwood. After a few hours we got bored and decided to go to a music shop in Romford. I drive us all down there in the beast (who we've named Tyrone) and once inside the shop, we caused carnage. Emma and I stumbled across an electronic drum kit (which is a full size drum kit which you still play the same as a normal drum kit, only it's electronic) and we spent an hour bashing it. The volume was turned right up so the whole store had to listen to our wonderful tunes. Emma had maracas and African drums and played along to my excellent drumming. We finished to a round of applause and have now decided to form a band. We reckon that if we play topless, we'll make more money than Jordan and Rusty's bands combined. What do you think?!
We are now back at my house, trying to decide whether to go out and get drunk or go to the cinema. I'm working tomorrow (doing a photoshoot and interview for Marie Claire magazine - woohoooo Mum I've made it to the glossies!) so really should take it easy but something about pulling a 21 year old has given me a new energy for life (so we'll probably end up in the Litten Tree tonight as they have an "all drinks £1.35" night on).
Going back to last week, Kenzie got glassed in the club 195. I spoke to him the following day. He's ok, just pissed off and slightly shaken. He ended up having 7 stitches in his face, just under his eye. It was some random freak that did it. Kenzie didn't even know the bloke. The traumas of being famous eh?! I'm just glad he's ok. It could have been a lot worse if it had been any closer to his eye. He's not going out now for a while cos he wants his face to heal first. Poor little thing. I've been talking to him a lot though and making him laugh. He even joked to me that he's a "real" gangster now that he's got a scar on his face. Gotta keep laughing in this mental world otherwise you've got nothing! He's in the middle of his driving lessons at the moment. Hopefully he'll concentrate on that and pass soon.
Oh, and nearly forgot to say - my new neighbours moved in next door on Saturday. I took them a giant jar of mini-eggs as a present. My mate Dave Morgan was going to buy next door but he decided to stay in London in the end as it's easier for him with his work. Also, he and Sarah are practically living together in his flat so there wasn't any point in him moving. Instead, someone else bought the house and moved in. They seem really nice though. I just hope they know what they are letting themselves in for in moving in next to me. Last night I was laying in bed reading a book and it was totally silent; I suddenly heard a cough from next door through the wall, which made me realise just how mush you can hear. I cringed when I thought back to the noise I must have made Sunday night........... Poor things.
Hope you all had a great weekend. Speak to you tomorrow
xxxx
