Well, what can I say? Last night was really good. I did go to Dimples' work Christmas Party (even though I had to invite myself) and it was really really good. I met Andrea in the office (please do keep telling him the important bits babe - he is a man after all and may need some help in the relationship department from time to time), I also met Sonia, who is also on my side about the whole Dimples-not-making-enough-effort thing and Nina and Nikki who were also lovely. Everyone was very lovely and made me feel very welcome, in fact. Mixed reviews on Dimples (when he wasn't around of course); some said he's a lovely guy and others said he's a player and the reason he hasn't had a girlfriend for two years is that he likes to play the field. Well, that's all about to change, my little friend.......
I wore my new black dress, which is lush. Little capped sleeves, very busty and to the knee. I wore my black Gucci shoes and a diamond tiara in my hair (thought I'd go for the Michelle Heaton school of how to make a man propose - wear any part of a wedding dress or wedding accessories and hopefully he'll get the hint). On a serious note, I love wearing a mini tiara, it makes me feel like a princess! We got slightly merry (it is Christmas after all) and retired to our room for some filth. After a long drunken conversation about how the wind outside sounded like fireworks (Dimples said it didn't - I said he was lacking in imagination), we fell asleep in each others arms and I was woken to something poking me in the back. A lighter I left in the bed, before you ask.... ; No, seriously, of course it was King Dimples and we had some good loving before we went our seperate ways. He has a wedding to go to today (hopefully it'll give him some ideas, or at the very least make him feel a little romantic towards me). Don't get me wrong, I know that three weeks into a relationship is a little early to be talking marriage and kids but I like to dream and get carried away. I am a girl after all.
When laying in bed last night, Dimples said to me "I think you're gonna have a little bit of a problem, cos, erm, well, I really like you". Problem? Problem babe? It's what I've wanted since I first clapped eyes on you and drunkenly poked you in your dimples with the words "you're gonna get it". It's all I've wanted this whole time instead of the messing you've been doing. I just want a normal loving relationship. One where the boy cares about the girl for who she really is and thinks she's the sexiest thing that ever walked the earth and vice versa. Is that so mush to ask? Dimps - it ain't a problem that you are starting to like me. About bloody time, I say! I like you lots and am very pleased we met across a crowded dance floor (after I spied your cheeky dimples a mile off). I am very happy right now, or will be if things continue like they were last night (that means keeping up the basic manners course you're now on). I do think you are a little bit schizophrenic but it's ok cos I love some or most of your personalities and you have definitely made a conscious effort to be nice or loving Dimples for the last two days. Stick with that babe and we'll go far, me and you (Andrea or Darius, you might have to tell him all this as he probably won't read it). If things continue then I'll definitely consider having kids with you cos they'd be really good-looking and I think you'd make a good dad...... sorry that was far too mush information!
My eyes are a bit blurry today due to sleeping in my contact lenses. I am going into Brentwood in a bit to have all my camera memory cards put on to cd's so that I have enough memory to take 10,000 pictures this weekend.
Have a lovely weekend people. I might not write tomorrow as I'l be mega busy with getting my hair and make-up done, putting everything in place for the evening and eating penny sweets by the dozen. You can expect a very funny and slightly hung-over write up on Monday though.
Oooh, did I tell you, Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene rang me the other night while I was in a restaurant with Dimples. Dimples is their biggest fan ever and his eyes lit up when he realised who I was talking to. Steve and his wife are in Dublin this weekend (Ocean Colour Scene are playing over there) and trying to make it back in time for my party. On Monday night, I am taking Dimples to see them in concert and will also take him backstage to meet all the band and have a few beers with them. He has got his cd and silver marker ready for them to sign and I just can't wait to see the lovely Mrs Craddock again cos she's the nuts. Dimples can't stop talking about it and is jumping up and down. I'm pleased I can do something for him that is so special and that will make him happy. I just hope he remembers it when it comes to me needing something for him (ie. to see him perhaps, nothing big, just a little thing like wanting some company and a cuddle). If not, I can always go out with a guy I met last night called Mark who listened to the last James Whale show I was on (about bullying) and went off and donated a load of money to Beat Bullying. Now, that, people, is a lovely lovely man! If we can't help others and make the world a better place to live in, then what's the point in being here?!
I just have to say a MASSIVE congratulations to Gary and Kelly who are expecting triplets! Well done and good luck. One screaming kid is bad enough, but three in one go....? (joke) I'm very happy for you and so is Dimples. I wish you lots and lots of luck and happiness. If you ever need a baby sitter, me and Dimps will do it cos I love kids and he needs to get used to them for the future, if he wants to stay with me ;
Take care, be good (actually, don't be too good), have fun, don't drink and drive and I'll speak to you soon my lovelies.....
