16th March 2006 - The one about wearing a see-through top

Well, hello. Sorry I didn't write yesterday but I ended up running round all over the place. I popped to Brentwood to get something to wear for the Premiere and then had a bit of lunch (alone cos no one was about). I came home and Rusty came over, quickly followed by my brother. I went off to have a shower and once I was half-ready I tried on the two outfits I'd bought earlier. One was a posh, long, clingy dress and the other was tight white jeans with a totally see-through silver top. When I showed Russ and asked him which he thought I should wear, he answered "that one" while I still had the see-through number on. When I asked why, he answered "cos it'll give Dave a heart attack". Lovely. I did end up wearing the see-through one cos Dave agreed it looked wicked and he didn't like the dress quite as mush after he'd seen the two outfits on.

Our car arrived to pick us up at 5.30pm and we had a cuddle on the way up to London. Before we got there, I briefed Dave on what the red carpet would be like and about all the interviews I knew I'd have to give. He was cool. We stepped out to about 40 paps going mental over my see-through top (I politely covered myself when being interviewed by the likes of GMTV). The film itself was good. It was the second Basic Instinct film with Sharon Stone. She came out at the beginning to say a few words and we were amazed at how stunning she is and how cute and giggly. All the usual faces were there, including my ex Antony Costa, the hideous Maggot (newly named "worm" by my crew) and the even more hideous Pete Burns. Funny, cos the whole time we were in Big Brother together, he ranted to anyone who would listen that he "hated" celebrities and told us all how he "never" went to celeb events. Amazing how mush a person can lie to try and look cool. Pete is so desperate for fame, you can smell it on him!!! He's been at every single celeb bash there has been in the last two months, for me on the other hand, last night was my second event since leaving BB. I sat and smirked to myself as I though back to his protests of hating celebs and celeb events. What a loser. On a more positive note, I bumped into Nell McAndrew (who is absolutely glowing from being pregnant) and my old publicist Emma. It was so nice to see both of them. They both looked amazing. I also saw my mate James (who plays Martin Fowler in Eastenders). He introduced me to a few other cast members and we had a nice chat. He texted me last week in a bit of a panic; he'd been told (totally untruthfully) that I had been involved in a car crash and wanted to know if I was ok. It's mad how many weird rumours are out there! Anyway, James is great and working hard. He ended up sitting directly behind me in the cinema, which was nice. Sitting in the seat in front of me was the guy who I think just came second in Dancing On Ice, that Stephan guy. The cute one. He looked lovely. I loved that show and thought he was brilliant on it.

When the film finished, me and Dave got picked up outside by our driver and taken to the after party. We helped ourselves to the free drink and food for half an hour then called our driver to come and get us. I'd arranged with Kyle that I would pick him up on the way home so we took a detour through Bethnal Green to get him and chatted the whole way home in the car. Dave had work this morning, so when we got in he went straight to bed and Kyle and I stayed up til 3am waffling. Today my amazing cleaners came and blasted my house again. They even did all mine and Dave's ironing! They truly are the most amazing thing! My house just sparkles after they've been. They not only clean the whole house and strip and re-make my bed, but they put fresh water down for Paddy and unload my dishwasher!

While the cleaners were working their magic, Kyle and I went to Brentwood to get food and ended up doing a big shop in Sainsburys. We got loads of treats, including a whole carrier bag full of chocolate eggs (we're very excited that Easter Eggs are now being sold in shops and we want to arrange an Easter Egg hunt at my house!). We came home to eat and then stuck a film on. We watched In Her Shoes, which was good but made our eyes well up a few times. Now, Dave and Russ have just got here, having had band camp tonight. Russ says to say "hi" to all his fans and that he over-did it last night so is going home to have a cup of tea. Over-did it is an understatement. Jordan called us at 1.30am to ask for help. Russ was passed out after downing about ten flaming sambucas at Jord's gig and Jord couldn't get him out of the car. Kyle told him clearly not to bring him to my house!! Poor Russ. He still got up for work at 8am today though. He's not human! If I'd passed out from drinking, I'd need a whole day to recover!

Anyway, I'm gonna go. The boys are getting bored and need constant attention! The Premiere was good, Dave enjoyed his first red carpet event and according to the Sky News website, I stole the show from Sharon Stone. Not the case, me-thinks, but hey, no point going out if you're not going to make an effort is there?!

Hope you're all having a good week. If you're not..... It's nearly the weekend! Hooray.

Lots of love

P.S. I'm writing this on my new computer - I finally have broadband set up on the new computer and laptop. Joy! I've also got flashy new speakers so I can listen to tunes while I type. The speakers glow ultra-violet blue! I know I'm a geek, but they look the nuts!

P.P.S The suitcase is doing well on ebay. Or so my friend who's auctioning it tells me anyway. I think tonight was the last night for bids. I'm not sure who got it but my mate said it might be a guy who is willing to pay an extra grand for me to deliver it to him. Turns out the guy lives right near some friends of mine, so I can pay them a visit at the same time, if I do decide to go. Don't you just love it when things turn out good?!
