Hi guys its Sarah and Stevie. Its our turn to do a little blog tonight. We wont be long as its been a looooonnng day today and we are tired hungry bunnies who need feeding very very soon!
Marge has just come in and mistaken me for Jodie as I'm typing at the computer, even though I'm not chain smoking or pulling clumps of my hair out!
Its been a busy few weeks for us. We have been to every soft furnishings shop, DIY store and every home showroom in the south of England and Jodie has bought enough stuff to be able to furnish the house next door as well as hers! In fact, we were discussing earlier how she was going to fit her entire DVD collection in her house (and even did some calculations - what anoraks we are sometimes!!!) so she might have to buy it eventually just to house her shoes, her 2,000 DVDs (we are not joking!!) and, hopefully, a million baby tortoises!
The boys are rehearsing next door and they sound wicked. Me and Stevie are having a lil' boogie as we type this. Stevie is slowly dying from his dog allergy but I will make sure we finish this before he keels over!
So... what else has been happening? I left Sugar Hut a couple of weeks ago so am currently enjoying being a professional bum, Stevie has aged about 50 years as he is having to cope with untold amounts of stress and extra work at the Hut without me, we jumped out of a plane (and I was sick sick sick all day while Stevie bless him held my hair back), I went on my first Brentwood pub crawl, and I came back from my Valentines break with Dave to find that Jodie is now seeing a Dave as well!
Dave the sax player (Jodie's new man) is the spitting image of Jake Gyllenhall from Brokeback Mountain (or, as Stevie calls it, Bareback Mountain!!), plays 13 instruments, teaches music, is in the same band as Rusty (Jagged), and we think he is a top bloke. At first I thought it might be weird with one of us dating one of our mates but its working out really well so far and is even bringing us all together a lot more!!! Could he be the one?... well he has passed all the tests so far (and believe us we do throw some curve balls at our new men just to gauge their reactions!!). He even came house - stuff shopping on Saturday and managed to survive the whole ordeal without actually breaking down in tears once!!! He was shaking somewhat by the time we got him home but that could have been alcohol withdrawl I guess... So watch this space guys...
By the way, if there is anyone out there who is tall, mousy brown, fit, blue eyed, manly and funny and is called Dave then give us a shout cos Stevie wants his own Dave now as well!!!!
Stevie also says that if there is anyone out there that would like to give Jodie some free painting lessons then please let us know. Words cannot even begin to decsribe the unique beauty of Jodie's bizarre attempts at making her own canvas masterpieces and it has kept us all giggling for days! It will be our mission to get photos of these 'unusual' works of art onto the website so you can all have a giggle and cheer yourselves up on a dull day hee hee!!!
Anyway, we are off to hunt for Jodie around the Manor now cos we are wilting fast and need feeding and watering. I'm off to the Algarve for a week with Dave tomorrow and Stevie is back to work. Things happen so fast around the Marsh...I wonder what will have happened by the time I get back!!
Lots of love, baby tortoise kisses and paddy bum rubs
