Hi guys. So we are on day 6 already. Jodie, Pete and George have been nominated, and all the latest mags are out so I have been doing my homework like the good friend that I am (plus Dave is out fighting fires and saving the world) so I thought I would write the blog tonight.
Let me summarise the press first. I must say I particularly liked the line the Mirror took over Gorgeous George today, especially as it is a thread that no one else has seemed to have picked up on as yet. A proverb springs to mind at this point...glasshouses??...stones?? I will let you fill in the blanks for yourselves. Jodie has had several high profile relationships, and I will not dispute that, but I do think it is very rich of Galloway to blast Jodie for her exploits and attempt to take the moral high ground when he (unlike Jodie who has NEVER cheated due to her strong personal beliefs about relationships and treating people with respect) is a self confessed fornicator and even had the downright audacity on one occasion to concentrate more on getting his end away than on famine in Africa!!
I would also like to say that all the mags have been extremely supportive of Jodie this week, especially Reveal ( big up to Michael and Paula - you guys know the real Jodie so know what she is really like!) and Sneak. I am really pleased that you guys are rooting for her and I know she would be too. Anyone that has met Jodie knows that what you see is what you get. She is the most genuine, honest, friendly and caring person you could meet and if it wasn't for the calculating game plans of certain house mates more people would be able to recognise that easier. Keep on helping the nation to see it guys - she is in there on her own with no allies fighting against the most morally corrupt, cruel and calculating bullies you could think of so she needs our support!!
Ok...now for the rant. Today's rant will be based on a group I like to refer to as the Bitches of Eastwick. Pete and Michael perform their roles as bitching queens to the letter, and Gorgeous George should really consider changing his sexual orientation after CBB as he bitches far too well to be straight!! (and don't think for a second that I haven't noticed your obsession with Pete's breasts...and the Sport hasn't either hee hee!!)
As a collective, the Bitches can be a force to be reckoned with, but if you break it down you see a whole different story. Their behaviour towards the younger housemates and especially Jodie can only be described as an acidic concoction of mind games, back stabbing and bullying. It seems clear that there is a game plan behind their constant attacks, as there can be no other reasonable explanation for three of the oldest housemates to gather together and bully a girl half their age so forcefully otherwise. They simply should know better at their age, and i am sure they would be outraged if someone ganged up on a child of theirs in the same way. Seems ironic really that Jodie was bullied so badly at school and is an Ambassador for Beat Bullying, yet is being tormented herself to make a bunch of has-beens feel a little better about themselves. I think it is particularly sad that they do not stop until they make her cry either, and then attempt to insinuate that her tears aren't real!!! They must be forgetting about the likes of E4 and live streaming on the net then, because every time I have seen her cry I have also seen the vile, twisted, rubber lipped cause of her tears as well! You wanna talk about crocodile tears?? Take a look at Michael Barrymore!! He blubbed on entering the house, blubbed in the diary room, blubbed (on cue) at the nominations...and then not only denied blubbing, but also had the audacity to mock and blast Jodie for crying, saying she was playing up to the cameras!!! Big Brother only asked Michael to nominate two housemates but he was so used to blubbing on cue for the camera by then that the tears started falling before he could even finish his sentence!!
I must say I used to adore Michael Barrymore when he used to be on TV, but since seeing the person behind the one liners, I can see that he is empty inside. In my opinion, how can someone who famously declared his 20 year marriage was a sham, visited rehab 8 times, was addicted to cocaine and famously fled the scene of a party at his own house where a man (a father of two young children I might add) was found dead in only his boxer shorts with horrific anal injuries, and then did not assist with investigations, how can he DARE to attempt to take the moral high ground and personally attack a young girl simply for choosing to stand up for herself and voice her opinions and feelings when she has NEVER lied to anyone about her feelings, NEVER been to rehab, NEVER taken drugs in her life and certainly NEVER fled a murder scene is totally beyond me. You, Mr Barrymore should be taking a leaf out of Jodie's book and learning a little about compassion, honesty and respect for humans as if you had any of the above then you wouldn't be in the sorry desperate state you are now.
George is also in no position to lecture Jodie from a moral highground or from his years of experience as I have already mentioned in this blog that I feel that he has more of a sexually, morally and politically colourful past than Joseph's fabled technicolour dreamcoat!
Pete, the last but no means the least of the Bitches of Eastwick, seems to be the most transparent of the clan. Pete, who was also married to a woman for many years, attempts to play himself as a closed book when the reality is that there isn't a story to tell as he is also hollow inside. His game plan is as clear as the space between Jade Goody's ears.
He spends hours haranguing Jodie calling her a publicity whore, saying he never reads the press, and doesn't care for celebrity or press attention... funny isn't it then, that he manages to make constant references to magazines and stories about Jodie if he doesn't read them... funny isn't it that he was a has-been that spent over 500k on surgery ( you were ripped off by the way Pete) so he could once again appear on TV and attempt to claw back his career by singing the one song people know him for...funny isn't it that you have agreed to appear on CBB when you don't care for fame...
and PARTICULARLY funny isn't it that you brought a gorilla fur coat into the house with you, because unless you have been living on Mars for the last ten years (which, to be honest, you look like you have) you would know that Gorillas are an endangered species and so possessing and wearing a Gorilla fur would be a sure fire way to gain maximum press attention with minimum effort.
As Gorillas are an endangered species, you would also be aware that fines and imprisonment would be possible penalties for trading in this fur (what's the betting that when he leaves the house it turns out that the fur wasn't in fact Gorilla after all....hmmmm....). As Gorillas are endangered, you would spark debates up and down the country, rile the Department for Environment, Food and Rural affairs, and the Biodiversity minister, not to mention PETA campaigners and anyone who has even the slightest opinion about animal rights, ensuring your name was on everyone's lips simply by putting on a coat. Now Pete Burns may be many things but stupid is not one of them...you do the math. Methinks there is only one publicity whore in that house...
What do you think of Pete's coat? Are you upset about it? If you are, then I strongly suggest you vote to keep Jodie in the house, because out of all the supposedly high profile confident celebrities in there (some of whom even claim to work for PETA), Jodie is the only one with enough balls to speak her mind about it. It is that force of conviction and genuine honesty that makes Jodie who she is, and should make us all proud that there is one person in there that is brave enough to speak out for the youth and views of today, without a thought for how that may "affect her career". Barrymore has told her many times to stop voicing opinions and that if she speaks her mind all the time then she will never get anywhere. I am proud that she has the guts to go against the polluted flow in there and be the voice of modern reason. Besides, keeping quiet instead of speaking up didn't do Barrymore a lot of good did it??!!
Strange then that the Bitches seem such a force to be reckoned with, as when you dissect their characters you can see that they are all quite pitiful really. But then, that can be said of even the meanest bullies, terrorising people to make themselves feel better and for their own gain. If they had any sense, they would concentrate more of their efforts on watching their own backs as they are all operating with their own selfish agendas despite coming across as a united front, nominating each other as well as Jodie in a vain attempt to increase their chances of winning. They have the audacity to constantly attempt to take the moral high ground with her, causing upset, tension and atmosphere and then attempt to blame it all on Jodie, their biggest competition. They push her buttons and then mock her when she gets upset. They bully her and then call her (a 27 year old open hearted pint sized girl) the house bully. They attack her on her opinions on vegetarianism, fur, and the press repeatedly like a broken record trying to wear her down. It is not her fault that it is working. It is not because they are better people. It is simply because they have strength in numbers...like all bullies. When she felt so unwelcome and abused that she went to bed they said she segregated herself to make herself look good as a victim. Is that what they think of all victims of bullying? That they ostracise themselves intentionally? How do those people sleep at night? Well, considering their character profiles it makes sense really doesn't it.
Lastly, as a major contradiction, they scorn her for being conniving and calculating one minute and then young and naive the next. Surely it would be impossible be both? From my point of view, I hold Jodie's natural innocence, honest opinions and genuine sincerity in mush higher esteem than the Bitches of Eastwick and their cold, calculating, immoral and abhorrent ways any day.
As Pete, Michael and George have stated on countless occasions "everyone is entitled to their opinion". That can be said of anyone's views of CBB, but also of Jodie. Vote to keep Jodie in CBB. She is entitled to her opinion too. She is more moral and just and true than any of those depraved cackling has-beens. They should be voted out and left to scramble back into the deep debauched holes from which they were exumed, allowing Jodie a fair chance to be herself and express her views without further victimisation.
